<p>no, there was this kid who cured pancreatic cancer last year, but he got rejected from all the ivies because he had no other ECs. He's at JHU now.</p>
<p>How many ECs would be considered "average"? I only have 3 right now, and NO, they're NOT any school-related ones (math team, science bowl, enviro. club, Model UN, and the laundry list goes on) But I love doing them and I set my heart on them. I plan to write an essay about one of them that reveals a hidden part of myself that i never knew before..</p>
