I want to become a dietitian, that's what I love. But just out of curiosity, would it be possible for a dietetics major (nutrition) to enter med school?

You probably already know that you do not need to go to medical school to become a dietitian. My mom’s a dietitian and her highest degree is a bachelor’s; she is both registered and licensed though (no idea what the difference is).

That said, my best friend is premed and is a nutrition science major (which is different from a nutrition and fitness major, which is much easier at my school) which requires practically all the same classes as my biology major does, plus additional biochemistry. When my mom was here (she’s an alumna of my school), her degree plan that led to dietetics was not at all the same as my friend’s nutrition science degree plan–my friends is much more challenging, according to my mom.

Beyond all of that, though, is that it doesn’t really matter what you major in if you want to be premed. “All” you need to do is fulfill the requirements of the med schools, which can be found elsewhere on this board. You can major in whatever you want.

yes, i’ve looked up pretty much everything there is to know about becoming a dietitian on the internet
now that you mention your mom being a dietitian, maybe you can give me some inside scoop! i probably love everything that there is to being a dietitian, but i still have a few (minor) worries. mainly about job opportunities and pay wage. thankss!

As long as you comlete requirements, you can be any major. There are musicians in conservatories of music, foreign language majors or whatever you wish.
