"Curious George"

Hello,

I am a rising senior (class of '07), and I am painstakingly researching on numerous colleges. I was wondering if any LFC students/future students, and/or parents who can gladly help me learn more about LFC.

I was wondering what type of ACT/SAT scores does it take to get accepted into LFC?
Is it a self-motivated and competitive college where students know that education is the key to success?

I hear that their premed program is quite excellent. The acceptance rate to medical school is 90%? (Is that correct?). Does that mean 90% LFC premed students get accepted into medical school on their FIRST try?

Thank you for your time,
Nicesocks
:)

still curious lol

):

you dont want to go LFC....

i live there, believe me, i couldnt imagine going to college there

really? lol
how come? why do you hate about it?

Bumped some other discussions about LFC for you...

thanks "believersmom" :]

UR very welcome!

D & some friends are thinking of visiting during a football weekend this Fall, maybe we shall meet?

Sounds like a cool idea. Even though I live out-of-state during the school year. I have personally contacted the admin. for my state and she said that I should visit LFC during the school year. In fact I think I'll be in Chicago next week for family and friends. (Unless my plans are changed in the last min.)

I dont know, the town is filled with mansions and suburbs with no kids, there is no place to go in town we NEVER see college kids in town its not like theres even a college there...dont get me wrong its probably beautiful to people who havnt been here before, but id suggest looking other places too, lol nice suggestion right?

good luck wherever you go

i live in a similar place like lake forest. we have big classical, georgian houses.
i wouldn't be surprised if there are't many college students lingering around because chicago is close by. plus i have friends in nw and u. of chicago. o btw, i'm just intrested in lfc just in case if i can't get into my reaches (ex. nw) or w/e lol.

I happen to think LFC is a "diamond in the rough" for the right student. Using the city of Chicago as a backdrop for eduction is an EXCELLENT way to use the resources that Chicago has to offer.

Granted the location isn't for everyone, but for some it is exactly what they're looking for.
