<p>how good is the cellular bio program? does it compare well to other molecular and cell bio majors at the other ucs? </p>

<p>also, how easy/hard is it to get research opportunities, particularly in the area of molecular/cell bio? </p>

<p>its pretty competitive to get into a research lab. you have to be VERY persistent and start early. you should check out the CARE website (go to the ucla website and do a search for CARE --- sorry i'm too lazy to find it for you.) in any case, the CARE office helps undergrads get involved in research, provides funding and such.</p>

<p>i never had any problems with AT&T/cingular when I lived in rieber.... however, i do remember that the new plazas have terrible service....</p>

<p>T-Mobile sucks at DeNeve, but is great at Rieber and pretty good at Hedrick and Hitch. Not too sure about Sunset though, but I don't have any problems at Covel, so it should be fine.</p>
