<p>It's really quite easy. Get a book you enjoy (I'm reading Longitudes and Attitudes and Dogs and Demons (again)) and kick back on the shores of Malibu.</p>
<p>If you're 21 or over, you may indulge in a delicious Sam Adams Summer Ale/Oktoberfest. Otherwise, enjoy a nice glass of non-alcoholic...whatever.</p>

<p>the only time i really drank any alcohol was in germany...and you know in germany everyone drinks. it was actually really helpful..i discovered i have really high tolerance and that i become really quiet and calm.
btw, the drinking age is 16 over there and a lot of the alcoholic drinks are cheaper than water. so dont pass any judgment haha</p>

<p>Are you guys ever asked for a secondary form of identification at UCLA for purchases or services requiring a BruinCard? I know that at some universities (e.g. UC Davis), it's required because of fake university IDs for textbook purchases.</p>

<p>Im a EAP student coming from England, wanna know if a fake ID is worth getting over here or if it will be easy to get one in LA? Im 21 in January but refuse to accept 3 months without clubbing/alcohol (especially the latter).</p>
<p>You can get alcohol in Westwood without a fake id, you just can't purchase it legally. But Westwood is the Land O Beer Soaked House Parties so really, it'll be ok. </p>
<p>I have to wait til January and I HAVE a fake id. But it's much much too strict in Westwood to risk it. Fall quarter will fly by.</p>
<p>(A decent id will run you ~$200. Totally not worth it for 3 months, especially since if you try to use it in Westwood it WILL get taken away. Other areas aren't as strict but yeah)</p>

<p>lol. No. I'm about the furthest thing from a huge partier as it gets. I only got the fake id so I could go to some bars in orange county with people I'm not even friends with anymore. Kinda lame. But yeah. Not too big on the party scene. I go to some, but most make me hugely uncomfortable because random drunk people are too unpredictable and I don't like being a drunk person and yeah. Also, most are boring.</p>
