Current CU students: looking for a place to crash for Day on Campus

Hey guys. I live in California. I'll be going to the SEAS Day on Campus on April 21 and 22 (staying overnight at a host's on the 21). I'll be there touring around the campus and NYC starting on the 18th or 19th though. I'm wondering if any current students could take me in their dorms for any or all of these days: April 18, 19, and 20, because as I've read, hotels in NYC are really, really, really expensive, and I've already cost my parents a bunch by visiting my schools.

If you're interested, here's a little about me: I'm Taiwanese, male, grew up in Taiwan and lived in Germany; an SEAS prospective student, my major is computer science, but I have a broad interest, not just in engineering. Very interested in exploring NYC. I'll be a fun roommate to have if you could help me out :)

I'd mostly be out, and just sleeping in for the night(s), as I would need to make the best of my time there. You guys could give me an insider's view of Columbia too. If you could help me out, please pm me or leave a message here for more details or a picture of me or something. I'll be travelling there the next couple of days, so may not get back to you immediately.

Thanks in advance.

i think you should call the # they gave for days on campus, and ask if they have a host that would be willing to do it (i only know of like 3-4 current students that regularly browse these forums)

I see. Because I read Penn's website and it said Overnight Hosting is in months other than April, and you have to sign up two weeks in advance. But I'll try calling, thanks.

Oops, I meant Columbia. Maybe I'm confusing the website with Penn's.

i have a friend who got into penn and he said the overnight system at penn is completely different than any other ivy

Yeah I think I was thinking about Penn's. I just called Columbia and the lady said she'll get back to me.

Still looking for a host and friend, guys.
