Just wondering who is definitely planning on attending Days on Campus! So excited :)

I will definitely be attending Days on Campus! (4/19 to 4/20)

i m going to the one for SEAS April 17th-18th…anyone else w/ me?

jesus christ! Days on campus + POD overlaps with Penn preview days + penn multicultural thing

■■■

LOL, that was my EXACT reaction when i saw that today. at least they had the decency not to make them run over the same days.

looks like i’ll be at Columbia from Friday to Sunday night, then we’ll be driving up to Penn that morning and I’ll be at their multicultural thing until Tuesday.

in the process, i’ll be missing three days of school (in the middle of AP season), despite having no more discretionary visit days left… awesome.

at the end of the day though, we did get into Columbia and Penn, so i don’t know if ■■■ necessarily applies here, lol.

Hi!!! I’m still thinking about that, but I am like 90% going. I am going to join in on the admitted students chat. Anyone joining too?

@luofernando: Yeah! I’m going up for the SEAS Days on Campus as well.

Staying overnight. Can’t wait.

Yes, I’m going :)

OMG I am an effing genius…I figured out the PERFECT solution

go to columbia POD 18-19 and leave on the 19th at 8:00 in the morning; take the train down to 41st street where there will be a upenn coach bus leaving to phily; will stay at upenn from 19 through 21. then I will attend Columbia days on campus on the 22 & 23

Is anyone going to days on campus 22-23 by the way?? I feel like most colum college kids are going 20 & 21

April 17-18 for SEAS!! go BME! I might stay over 'til the 19th for the diversity thing…

Same dilemma…Cornell’s DHW overlaps with Columbia’s POD :(

can someone explain perspectives on diversity? how is it different from days on campus? wasn’t clear to me on the website.

That’s a great question LOL well they are having different events. And while Days on Campus happens twice, Perspectives on diversity seems to be a three-day event. Oh Hey! I have a question. So I registered for Days on Campus April 19-20, but I was wondering, do we HAVE to stay overnight? Can’t we just ATTEND both days lol

Hey Ilyzak,

I remember coming to Days on Campus when I was an admitted student. You really should stay overnight at the event, as some of the best events happen late that evening (11pm or later). Plus, staying overnight really gives you the chance to get to know your host and ask him/her questions about Columbia.

Glad you’re excited about coming to campus!

i’m going the 22 and 23

I’m coming to SEAS days on campus :)

My daughter was accepted to both Columbia and UPenn. She plans to attend UPenn’s multi-cultural event on April 19-21 in Philly. UPenn is providing transportation to and from NYC via a chartered bus. She then will attend Columbia’s Campus Days on April 22-23.

Other URMs in the same situation might want to consider doing the same.

Going to SEAS days on campus, but only April 18th!

Nah, family doesn’t want to drive up to New York those days and I’m going to the Flyers game on Sunday so that’s an hour and a half on the road already.
