<p>Well, I am a Guaranteed transfer student working on his application right now but I have a fear. Over the past weekend, I was caught with alcohol and will have to meet with an authority from my school soon to talk about what the consequences are. But my case wasn't extremely severe, and I will probably get a probation.</p>
<p>Now I'm not really a party-goer or an excessive drinker or any of that, I just got caught at the wrong time so I guess you could just call it inexperience. But anyway, what I am worried about is how much of an impact would this be for my GT application, since I have to check off that I did receive a probation for alcohol. Would Cornell be harsh or would they be a bit understanding?</p>
<p>Any opinions would be great. And I know what I did was terribly wrong so any lectures on underage alcohol abuse is not recommended please. Thank you.</p>
