<p>Our S is applying to the Comp Sci program, specifically for the video game design and development concentration. Anyone on CC in that program? We visited the campus in the spring and he really liked it - preferred it to Penn even, I think, and UMD (not surprising really). He's into entertainment games but also seems interested in serious games as well - and also very much in languages, the more obscure the better.</p>

<p>He has decent numbers (NMS, 34/2230, 780 Math SAT II, 3.7w/4.4uw - nearly all AP/honors classes), seems to fit the admin 25-75 ranges pretty well. I also assume that admit chances outside of the classic bio/pre-med are, well not easy but perhaps not quite as insanely difficult. He's applying to a few Ivies, also Rice and USC (tuition break for NMS + incredible games programs), and already has a couple of admits in hand, but IMHO Hopkins would be the best fit for him if the CS/games program is right.</p>
