Current OOS sophomore, how do I increase my chances and what major do I have the best chance?

My stats-
Lived in Texas until 2008, then moved to the north (NJ).
A and B student with ~3.65 GPA
My high school is the best in the area
Second decile in my class (anywhere from top 11-20%)

I’ve had my heart set on UT since early childhood. How do I increase my chances in the next two years?

I would ideally major in business admin, but that’s one of the hardest majors to get into. I’m open to a major in any type of communications as well. Ultimately I plan to be a doctor, if that helps, but would like to avoid being a bio major.

first figure out what you really want to do in life … lol cause majoring in business admin and wanting to go to med school don’t really work out too well.
However id recommend getting your GPA up to and get your rank to 11% or higher.
And last but not least get above a 2000+ SAT or 32+ ACT and good essays and rec letters
you should have a relatively good shot in getting into UT
