I am currently a second year biochemistry major that has been accepted into the honors program. I joined initially, thinking I could gain the one valued benefit of the program: getting priority enrollment for classes. However, after attending the meetings for Honors, I realized that you have to complete several requirements throughout your remaining years.

Some of these requirements, are of course, to take some honors classes and attend honors events. However, the most concerning requirement was where I was forced to take some "civic engagement" workshop. I came to realize that this workshop had a lot of reading and essays involved, taking up time that I don't have this quarter (I'm taking Bio5C, Chem112A, and Phys2A, including all their labs). I'm also not the most enthusiastic writer as I hate doing reading and essays for English class, which adds to my dismay towards that workshop.

As a result, I dropped civic engagement after the first class. Based on this, what is my current standing with the Honors program?
