My child just got in ED and is getting cold feet! Would love to hear from current CMC students about their experience, esp. if from out of state. She needs to hear some encouraging words. Is worried about "too many required classes" and if it is very hard to do well. Also what are the best parts of being in school there?
Also anyone else admitted ED who might like to chat with her?
Thanks!

As an out of state student, I can say that I love it there.

There really aren't that many required classes that you shouldn't be taking anyway. The only requirement I disagree with is the foreign language requirement, but I survived it and I'm an awful Spanish student...

The best part of going to school here are the students and professors. My friends here are among the best people I've ever met, and the professors are excellent.

I have only heard great things about it from current freshman.
Tell your daughter to relax and thank her lucky stars.

It is an amazing school, I have only heard great things, my son is at Pomona and the 5 colleges are noted for amazing academics, my D would love to be in your D's shoes. Let her do an overnight visit to calm her fears. My S swears it is the only way to truly test fit and be sure.

Thank you all for your encouragement. She is starting to get excited and we are going for the admitted students day in April, which will help a lot!
