Its a question for the current students.
What r the things u hate most about about Carolina?

duke being 8 miles away :)

I asked that question on a visit to a bunch of students. The common answer to what they hate at Carolina was PARKING....and Duke.

So I got accepted and I really excited about to going UNC. Wanted to know.... Does everybody on campus where the colors all the time? What is there to do in Chapel Hill? and ummm..... how is the food at UNC?

I've been to UNC and Chapel Hill quite a few times and let me just say...there is a lot of carolina blue! I doubt students wear carolina blue everyday but I'm sure most students have a couple carolina blue shirts. If its gameday, you'll see everyone wearing carolina blue, on campus and just outside it. It's such a great color and everybody in and around campus loves the tar heels.

The firetrucks and police cars are also carolina blue :)

When I went to UNC, everyone was wearing carolina blue. Though that could have coincided with basketball game vs. Duke two days in advance.

I hate hte construction.

I hate my stupid OR class that i have a test for in an hour. Other than that I can't complain. But most people would just tell you the parking sucks.

what is OR?

the police cars arent blue, just some of the fire trucks. and there are plenty of things to do in chapel hill. dont worry.

THe shirts at the bookstore are so cheap, they buy new ones instead of doing laundry.

Thanks guys. (firetrucks carolina blue?) I love the colors too. And I can't wait to go to a game, especially against Duke. (We're going to burn a couple of Duke dolls at my acceptance party) Go Heels!

The Carolina Blue firetrucks are pretty darned cool...I think they have a Tar Heel on them too if I remember correctly. :)

I don't know what's up with the "Command" vehicle, which looks like it really belongs with the NCSU Wolfpack. ;)

great pics jack! (...yeppers... that command vehicle needs a paint job...lol!)

Tarheel2007, OR is operations research, basically applying statistical math to real world situations. Its quite a pretty interesting field.

The firetrucks are blue and so are the street signs on campus.

Getting tickets for tarheel games isn't easy, and good luck getting Duke tickets, although I do know some freshmen who got tickets for the riser section (the floor section behind the basket)
