What are considered the best off-campus housing options - as in closest to the Danforth Campus and with the most student activity?

bump...............

that bad huh?

I like where I live brand! :) Also, there are the Loop Lofts which I have heard are very nice!

the closest off campus housing is on University Drive. Kingsbury rd and washington ave are also pretty close. the deal with these apartments is they are mostly 3 bedrooms and I think the leases go pretty early in the year. Forsyth and waterman are also pretty close to campus. realistically however anywhere off campus would be to far to walk regularly or in the cold.
Kingsbury and washington ave are mainly seniors and are pretty big party streets.

soon as i remember the website for the other off campus place i will post it.

kjane - I was under the impression that because the Loop Lofts are on the ResLife page and not owned by Quadrangle, spots in them were distributed through the lottery / i.e. handled by ResLife. Anything that is handled by ResLife (that required the housing app/handbook) is unavailable to me.

As far as I know, Loop Lofts are NOT handled through ResLife, though I could very well be mistaken. Loop Lofts are not through Quadrangle; they are owned by a different company, FrontDoor, LLC. Here is the website for the Loop Lofts. There is gated parking, you have your own washer and dryer and shuttles come by from campus. http://www.apartments-stlouis.com/?pg=property&pid=1019skinker

wow kjane I really, really appreciate that. I have always loved the Loop Lofts idea but thought they were impossible...though I know it may still be impossible since I'm sure many people want them, but now at least there is hope. Thank you so much.

I aim to please! :)
