Does the bookstore buy them back for a good amount of money, or am I better off selling them online? I missed the store's buyback period, but I'm assuming I could still bring my books in after break...

The price after break won't be as good and you'll always get more selling them online or to friends.

Another great system is to just hold on to your books and swap em with your friends for the semester. (if they are taking a class you previously took or visa versa)

This plan really only works for engineers or anyone else where the texts don't change that often and everyone takes the same courses. It is nice though as I think I only bought one book last year. (borrowed the rest)

the bookstore pays terribly- sell them to your friends if at all possible.

hmm okay, thanks for the feedback, guys! I think I'll go the online route...any recs on which website(s) I should use?

I use Amazon Marketplace. It's free, easy, and safe!

is there something like duiki books.com or something?

dbooktrade.com

or you can use the facebook marketplace

dbooktrade and FB marketplace is good for books that will be used during the coming semester. If, however, you have a book that the class doesn't use anymore, or if the class in which the book is used is only offered every other semester, it's probably easier to go amazon marketplace or half.com.

so I put my books up on Amazon Marketplace and I sold all but 2 of them in a day! Thanks, guys :)
