Hello, I am an incoming math major and I’ll be taking two classes this summer (Math Reasoning and Vector Calculus.) Based on your own experience (and maybe the experiences of any math major acquaintances you have), do you think 16 credits (Real Analysis, Abstract Algebra, Linear Algebra, and MMW 21) is a reasonable course load for the first quarter there? How easy will it be to land an internship by spring quarter?

I am a very driven student, but I understand that UCSD is a new environment and upper-division classes are a new way of thinking. Any input you can give would be nice. Thanks!
