Current UNC freshman

<p>Not having air conditioning is not the end of the world. It's nice to have a window to be able to open and close too if you live on South Campus and don't have AC. Otherwise your AC generator takes up your window. I have allergies and I am surviving fine without it.</p>

<p>UNC's doesn't have a "drug problem." People do drugs everywhere. Prescription pills, alcohol, and weed are commonplace in college. Don't expect to find a college without them--unless you're going to BYU or something.</p>

<p>yeah the AC has its good and its bad. the good is that you wont be sweating like crazy the first month of school, but the bad is that the dorms that do have AC aren't very social. i mean if you get morrison or i believe some parts of the other balcony dorms have a/c then your good because those tend to be A LOT more social than the HJ south, Morrison south, craige north dorms which are like inside so you meet a lot more people if you stay in a balcony suite. they just tend to be crazy quite. no one ever really leaves their door opens and like there arent even that many people in the halls unless theire walking to their rooms. just depends on what you like.</p>
