curve for the APEuro history test?

what's the highest score you can get on the DBQ and FRQ's -- my teacher didn't really say. is it a 9 for the first, and a 8 for the latter?

9 for both.

u cud have looked at the last post athena lol

woops. haha. i'm an idiot!! thanks.

I'm trying to review topics I don't know...............
Russia.......Rulers...........Cold War........Communism..............
I have a feeling the frq's might be on that........

Getting over half the multiple choice right should pass you if your essays are decent, so 70% really is nothing to sniff at.

Just make sure you know a lot of social trends, and a little bit about art. Those questions were lifesavers for me.

wow, i really suck a lot more than I thought. I just took a practice MC, and I got a raw score of 41. I will get a 3 with that, but wow, I've been studying so much but I still haven't really improved.

There is just so much random information you have to remember.

What type of art do you need to know?

Someone said it's hard to memorize British rulers

Usually there's the trick of making up a sentence, or new name, with their first names, just as I always remember the colors on the light spectrum: ROY G. BIV
(red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet)

But what to do when everybody's named "Richard" and the I, II, III thing?

It's really hard to predict the art that they'll use. Know Renaissance pieces like The Last Supper, David, Mona Lisa. Eugene Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People.

Do you mean there will be MC questions on art? Or there might be a FRQ on art?

Well, sure. Anything's fair game, but that's not to say that there will be a large number of questions on art. Know the movements and be able to name a major work and the artist. There have been FRQs on art in the recent past, so we might escape it this year...?

Wait, back up. The curve is adjusted year to year depending on all the scores, right? My teacher didn't go through the multipliers etc. with us.

i think so.. but my teacher says that curve probably will stay around 70% for a 5. she's not sure though.

i hate FRQs. seriously, my brain is mush from reading so much...and i can't remember anything!!
hopefully we'll get FRQs on the Protestant Ref and WWII. those are the only two i feel confident about!!!
good luck everybody.. or, as my math teacher says, "good skill!"

Wait how do you get a 8-9 on the FRQs?

Unrelated but last night I had a dream and I was taking the Euro test again. And then I got to this DBQ from hell. From my recollection it was compare religious texts and half of the documents were in Latin and there was like 2 Chinese things. All I remember was everyone around the room but me saying this is so easy with devilish smiles upon their faces. Haha. Then I woke up

that's a great dream! :P lol. i dreamt about Otto von Bismarck and the reunification of Germany -- also dreamt that i didn't bring proof of purchase and the lady wouldn't let me take the AP euro test and i was crying... :(
