curves for the october and november test.

i took the march sats and i didn't do so well. and then i heard that the may was a joke, along with the high curve, which obviously boosted a lot of peoples scores into the 2000s.
im goign to retake my SAT's in october or november but i don't know which one has a better curve or which one is better in general.
any advice on which one to take?

It doesn't matter. Take the one that works best with your college application plans.

No test is better. Honestly, from what I heard (despite some few saying otherwise) the May test wasn't that easy (the math was very hard). The curves change with respect to the difficulty so a 500 on one test is a 500 on another. Take the test on whichever date that will make you the most confident and works with colleges.

i concur with stix2400, the math on the May test was a lot harder than usual! And, actually, I heard that the May test is the hardest.

I have heard similar things regarding the level of difficulty of the tests. I think the only reason people feel that the ones in the Fall are easier is because they are more mature and are more experienced with long tests (APs, SATs, etc).

I hope the June SAT isn't too bad >< My last chance to hit my goal of 2300...
