Has anyone heard of a cyber charter school student being admitted into any of the top schools? Do colleges react to them as well as they do to traditional homeschooled applicants? I have a very serious dancer about to begin high school who wants to cyber school. She also wants to have the option of attending a top college whether she continues all the way through with dance, or not. She is a high achieving student in traditional school, but the need for schedule flexibility has made us look elsewhere. Just a bit nervous about this decision, since she wants to be able to keep options open for a few of the top ranking colleges. I haven't found it easy to find out where cyber students at some of these programs attend college. Any experienced applicants from cyber education out there?

Cyber education being where all of her classes are online/ over the computer?

I use an online high school program that I love. Here is a list of schools that students have gone to after getting a (fully accredited) diploma from my school:

Also, check out the homeschooler’s thread. Some online high school students self-identify themselves as homeschoolers (I do this sometimes… it’s easier to explain than online high school to some people).
