D-Day == March 15th

Two days away. Ahhhhhhhh!!!! Why do I have to live on the East Coast, which is at least 2 mail days away!

Isn't the right question when Caltech is going to discover this here new-fangled intraweb?

I live in the middle, so i guess 1 day for me... shiver... Hope my apartment mail box is big enough or small enough.....

so it's snail mail for US residents and then email for internationals?

Is March 15th the day when the decisions are sent home???

http://www.admissions.caltech.edu/

Oi...My heart has just jolted quite unpleasantly.
gulp

Well, in any case, good luck everyone!

Do they send mails on Saturday? March 17th is Saturday, so..
If they do, then I get the result on exactly same day as MIT!
This week has been and going to be great. (Two math comps this week w/ ARML practice.)

ps. I made so many mistakes on AIME, but I cannot believe I could have solved everything until time ended! (upto 12) But I missed 1,2,4!!! But proud of myself.

Don't worry so much people, you'll have your envelopes this week! Buena suerte.

Can somebody steal my letter from the admissions office so I never see it?
eeks!

Good luck all!

Good luck!! I will be calling some of you probably haha

<-- Calling admitted students for admissions office

:eek::eek::eek: I have grown fond of this particular emoticon.

I resemble that emoticon to an alarming degree right now. Except, y'know, less blue.

Oh well. I shall expect a rejection letter -- at least that way, disappointment is sort of as low as it can get.

are letters really going to be sent twomorrow?!?!?! :O:O:O:O

Hey Ben!

If you're out there, any numbers, words of wisdom, etc.?

just wondering is it me or the 15th of march is the Ides of march (date of Caesar's assassination)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ides_of_March

maybe this isn't the best place for someone like me...

anyways, as a seer once said to Caesar "Beware the Ides of March" (Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, I, i)...

-best of luck to all those waiting

Good luck to everyone.
PS. I guess I won't get the mail until the week after next cuz I live in Canada.
