D Grade in last quarter

I've been accepted into UCSD as a transfer student, and my GPA prior to this semester is 3.73.

I got one D this semester, and my GPA is at 2.8 for spring.

I was afraid that my admissions could be revoked from UCSD, but I called their admissions office and they told me that I was fine.

My major is Econ, and the lady I spoke to said that the D grade won't affect admissions because I've already passed the two previous required math classes with B's.

I also wasn't sure if D units transfer to UC, but I guess that they do because I was told that an "F" grade would have been really bad.

The provisional contract states that one needs to maintain a 2.0 GPA for the final semester at community college, and a 2.8 overall.
Hopefully she knew what she was talking about! Does anyone have any insight into this?

ok...so they told you it was fine....then wat the hell are you worryin about?

Yeah I guess I'm stressing too much over this, I was just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation

I AM EXTREMELY WORRIED.....i had a 3.9 gpa, all my classes were going well i was looking at maybe a 3.5 gpa, but now my anthro class i might be getting a D....im planning to go to uci......will they revoke me for a D on my last semester?

Oh, wow, it's true about the 2.0 in community colleges

Admissions officers typically have leeway when it comes to these things. Basically, you can and should argue your case. Not many lose their admission status.
