<p>I might end up having a D on my AP Biology class for the semester. I really want to get into UCSC, but I'm not sure if I can still get in with a D. The a-g requirements say to have 2 years of science with a C or better, which I've already done before (HP Bio, HP Chem, and HP Physics). So can I still get admitted since this is an "extra" type of class passed the necessary requirements?
If I end up with a D, this will be the only D I have on my report cards.
PS I'm still trying to get it to a C, but I wanted to know just in case. Thanks.

<p>The UC’s are pretty strict about keeping your grades up in your senior year. A D or F would be cause for rescinding your acceptance. I would call admissions immediately and explain your situation. They should be able give some advice about what should you should next.</p>
