D in mid year report!!

hello I got a D in honors pre calc
my question is…

  • can i still go to college
  • can i still go to cal states
  • if i get acccepted and they dont ask for mid year report grades but final report and see my D first semester but they see an A in honors pre calc second semester…will they still rescind me?

Whatever grade(s) that will go on your official transcript are the grades you need to worry about. If the D is an official grade on the transcript, you will need to contact all the schools that you have applied with an explanation and a plan to remedy the problem. You should consult your GC first and come up with a plan. Most schools would rather not rescind, but will try to work with you but you need to be proactive and take care of this ASAP. If you leave it until your final transcript is received by your ultimate college choice, you will be rescinded.
