D.U. disaster strikes!

<p>Yesterday, 05/11/11, the final finals day at Big Red U, we received a letter from the U and specifically from the women's swimming/diving team soliciting funds for the purchase of finals "care packages." The inside address was 04 April 2011 and sought a response by April 21, I believe. </p>

<p>I'm wondering ... did anyone(s) else get this yesterday? Earlier? At all? </p>

<p>No biggie, but just wondering if we were simply a victim of "lost mail," or it the issue was a collective mailing either stuffed and stamped late ... or sitting somewhere in stacks?</p>

<p>In any case, ours made thru the "ordeal" absent any MnM's, cheesie crackers, chips, Swedish fishies, etc. ... at least offered up by the swimmers. How could it be! :eek:</p>

<p>We got the letter in early April.</p>

<p>We got the letter here in Minnesota on 5/12! DH was standing in the kitchen laughing while reading it aloud and he had the same sort of response - hoped daughter didn’t “bomb” finals and blame it on a lack of carbs and sugar ; )</p>

<p>Well we got one today too! Not sure what I was remembering we got earlier …</p>
