D2 Track Coach being unresponsive?

So a few weeks ago I filled out a questionaire for a D2 track school, it was right before the end of my junior year. A few hours later the coach responded with an email asking for my unofficial transcripts and why I want to attend the school, which I responded to right away (My scores and GPA are beyond the school’s requirement). Since then, I haven’t received a response.
Today I tried calling the coach (since the email said he wanted me to call him) and I was sent straight to voice mail, and I’m worried that I did somthing wrong.
When is it appropriate to email the coach again, or should I at all? This is a school I’m extremely interested in so I don’t just want to give up.

dont give up. Your academic year ended and the same happened at a lot of colleges. Maybe the coach isn’t keeping traditional hours. I would email again asking if there is a good time to call? if you don’t hear back, I’d still call again and leave another message if it’s a school you really like.

DII NCAA Track Championships just finished up on May 28, so the coach has likely been pretty busy finishing up his post-season coaching responsibilities. It is not unusual to then a take a couple weeks break before starting to prepare for the next season. They can actively begin the official recruiting process on July 1, but you, the potential recruit, can of course reach out to coaches as much as you want until then. Be persistent and good luck!
