So a few weeks ago I filled out a questionaire for a D2 track school, it was right before the end of my junior year. A few hours later the coach responded with an email asking for my unofficial transcripts and why I want to attend the school, which I responded to right away (My scores and GPA are beyond the school's requirement). Since then, I haven't received a response.
Today I tried calling the coach (since the email said he wanted me to call him) and I was sent straight to voice mail, and I'm worried that I did somthing wrong.
When is it appropriate to email the coach again, or should I at all? This is a school I'm extremely interested in so I don't just want to give up.
with coaches, be persistent. email, call, whatever.
Also, they may be taking some time off between they get back into summer recruiting season - keep up the persistence!
How many emails/calls should I send before it is concidered “annoying” for the coach?
If you left a voicemail, it’s fine to email as well as a follow-up - then give coach a couple of weeks to get back to you
You’ll probably find more people familiar with this if you post in the athletic recruiting sub forum
