Quick question, kid got called to Guidance and was told to send SAT score to NCAA code 9999. I didn’t think you had to do that for D3. It could be that the counselor doesn’t realize the school is D3. Do I need to pay the fee for this? Thanks.

If you are planning to attend a Division III school, you do not need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Division III schools set their own admissions standards.
You do not need to pay for it. If your child is taking another SAT/ACT and has an empty spot, it can be sent for free, just in case student decides to play D2 or D1.
