I am having trouble finding schools that meet my desires...
-Well respected, highly ranked school
-Competitive Division 3 men's soccer program
-Business Program

I live in PA and am looking for a school along the east coast (Mass. down through VA)

SAT's: Math-700, Reading-620 GPA: 4.2, top 10% of class, numerous AP's, National Honor Society

Many of the highly ranked schools with D3 sports do not have business programs, please offer me some suggestions.

MIT actually fits all three of the criteria, believe it or not. We’re D3 (though I’m not sure how competitive our men’s soccer is) and we have one of the best business programs in the nation: Sloan.

An obvious choice would be Carnegie Mellon: D3 athletics, in PA, with a strong business school (Tepper, ranked top 10 in undergraduate business according to USN&WR).

considering not being so strict on having all of your requirements. you’ll be missing out on some really good schools if all are musts and don’t allow flexibility. ie instead of business can it not be economics? that would open you up to schools like amherst and williams which gets attention from the business world for recruits. and if you can make an exception for california, there is claremont mckenna as well which is really well known in the business industries but offers economics. cmc is a very active school offering division 3 sports and intramural.

Consider Washington and Lee. Outstanding academics, great small town environment in VA, the students love the school and top to bottom really competitive DIII athletic teams.

Thank you all so much, I will definitely look into all of the schools that were mentioned. To answer liek0806’s question, I am considering economics as a major as well. I am scheduled to take AP Econ next year and I have a feeling that it may influence my decision. I have been in contact with the F&M coach, and I was also looking into a camp this summer that is run by the CMU and Washington & Lee coach, so I guess I am on the right path. I have also been advised to give up soccer and focus on academics which may be the smartest choice in the long run, who knows. Thanks again this has really helped.
