I think there is a chance that some of it is true.

The Bible? Naaah...

Are you atheis?

The Da Vinci Code is more or less as factual as the Bible.

haha, agreed.

In the movie Audrey Tautou has a sexy little French accent and brown eyes I could spend all day staring into. :)

i personally like when there's a little bit in the way of relationships, plus, according to the book, langdon was a very fit guy who always did laps at harvard and used to be on the diving team (divers are really buff) and it is entirely possible for a sophisticated guy like him to get a girl.

on another note, paul bettany impressed me the most because the last time i had seen him was in "a beautiful mind" and before that "a knight's tale" and i think of him as the jolly, loud, witty, british drunkard. but he was utterly creepy in this movie, and so good at it too.

ian mcklellan can do just about any role too. gandolf, magneto, crippled oxford grad. wow

i dont see how people can say the christian church has nothing to fear with this movie. I am by no means religious (and if I were, I would identify as Jewish, not christian) and I can see exactly why people could get upset. The fiction that Dan Brown has is so believeable, that it's really easy for people to believe that movie is true. When McKellan is going over the stuff in the last supper, I was sitting there thinking to myself "what genius, it all makes so much sense" I then had the startling revelation that I had totally forgotten it was fiction, and was at the brink of total acceptance of this movie's message. The Masons, Knights Templar, and so on do exist, and if you are not a member of the secret societies, how are you to know that what Dan Brown says isn't actually their purpose? I really enjoyed the movie, I had not read the book, and the plot was amazing (the acting was so-so, but that was not an issue). While I don't think theaters should have to, I can see why christian groups wanted a message that the movie was fiction to play before each screening.

it was a very good movie and book, but it was definitely a piece of fiction. the book is in the fiction section at the book store. people tend to forget that. dan brown tries to portray it like it could be truth and he must have put a lot of time into research for the book, but a lot of it is just taking something truthful and adding a speculation to it. there's nothing wrong with it, but there are a lot of people who don't know the history behind it who take it as being completely factual. it bothers me when people say that the davinci code has changed their religious views. that's just silly.

If the Da Vinci Code has to put a notification that it is a work of fiction, then the cover of the bible should read:

THE BIBLE*

*Note: This is a work of fiction.

Look how intellectually bankrupt these theists are. A work of fiction is enough to throw them in a fit.

Now they have the get this, the DA VINCI CODE GAME...ooooohhhhh! Dan Brown just has to squeeze every single penny out of the gullible consumer and reader.

Please remember, folks, that the movie and book are fiction and for entertainment purposes ONLY!

Oh, and I suppose the billions of dollars worth in art, writings, sculpture in the Vatican vault will be donated to charity tomorrow, right?

I daresay fans of the bible are far more gullible than fans of DVC. DVC readers don't believe staffs can be turned into sepents, or that men can walk on water. Could this be a case of the pot calling the kettle black?

Will you guys buy it when it comes out on DVD?

I typically don't buy Jesus video games or movies. And no, I never watched Passion of the Christ. I can already see that one coming.

speaking of Passion of the Christ I thought that was a good movie.

So did I. A lot of people cried. I had to squeeze out a couple of tears cause I didn't want to seem heartless. Crying ain't my thing.

And no, I am certainly not going to buy The Da Vinci Code dvd when it comes out. I'm not going to watch the movie or read that blasphemous book either. Fiction or not, I still don't like it.

freak.....

That wasn't nice surfette.

Not really, no. Oh well, I beg your pardon, darling.

Movie comes out that makes a mockery of your religion (ie. Da Vinci Code):

Christianity: Church is ****ed. Nobody dies, everything is quiet.

Islam:
Movie production crew = killed

Studio = Suicide bombed

Theaters that show the movie = burned to the ground
