Dad Questions

I've heard good things about Loyola and we were impressed when we visited. I just had a few questions about the school and the area.
While we liked the campus, it just seemed so small. I know that the small school atmosphere is very nice, but I am wondering if the students there ever feel like the place is just too small?

I was also concerned about safety, on campus and in the neighborhood. Any thoughts from students or parents?

I've never felt that the campus was too small. It definately is on the smaller side, especially when compared to other schools, but it's such a nice walk when going to class. I like that I can walk around everywhere that I don't have to catch a shuttle(even though we have them). As far as safety is concerned, I have never felt unsafe on campus. At night, you always see campus police wandering around. If you decide to travel off campus, you just have to be smart I guess. Loyola seems to be in the middle of two very different neighborhoods. There are some gorgeous mansions surrounding it on one side, yet if you go the opposite way, the area isn't the nicest. Don't walk alone at night; travel in groups to be on the safe side. Hope I helped! =)
