Dana Associates Program

Has anyone else applied to this program?

If anyone has first-hand experience as a Dana Scholar, I would really appreciate some feedback. What are the pros/cons, etc...Personally, Muhlenberg is a safety school for me, but I am wondering if the opportunities in this program are worth attending Muhlenberg over another school with better academics.

Let me know what you think!

i applied! but i doubt ill be attending muhlenburg either way. its too small. do u know when we hear if we got into the program?

yeah I feel the same way… I don’t know the exact date, but I would assume we’ll find out when we get the official acceptance envelope.

really? because acceptances should be going out soon and the deadline for the dana associates thing was pretty recently. i feel like theyd have to send it out later

well that’s definitely a possibility too. i honestly have no clue lol…I said that because i applied in early november and have already heard back from other schools. I was expecting an envelope around march 15th, but nothing came. this would lead me to assume that they are waiting until the end of the notification period to send it all together. maybe it’s just wishful thinking…you’re probably right that we’ll get it later.

I’m not sure about Dana Associates, but my D was admitted to one of the other honors programs. From what I remember, the letter about that didn’t arrive until a few days after the acceptance letter to the school.

I applied as a Dana Scholar, and I got my acceptance letter today. It did not say anything about the Dana program at all, which leads me to believe it will come later.

yep i got mine today without the program notification.

yeah my letter came but no word from the dana associates program

yea i applied to the dana program but nothing has come…i got a president’s scholarship yesterday though, which is almost a week after i got admitted to the school

My roommate’s a Dana and so is one of my friends. You take a special FYS specifically for Danas, and I think have a sophomore seminar or something like that as well, and have to do a senior capstone project. That’s all I know about it. If you have specific questions I can ask my roommate.

My son hasn’t gotten official notice that he was accepted into the Dana program, but on his financial aid page, $4,000 ($2,000 fall and $2,000 spring) shows up next to “Dana Associates Program (Merit).” So I guess he’s in!

I just was accepted as a dana scholar today… it seems like a great opportunity, but i’m still unsure if i will attend muhlenberg…
