Dance BFA with strong academics?

I’m the OP, and I’m realizing that I didn’t do the best job of describing what we were looking for–my dd is not wanting or planning to double major. I think what I’m trying to get at is that she wants a school where (1) she can get decent academic classes outside of dance, with other interested students and (2) a program that values/teaches dance scholarship, as well as dance technique–so that her more academic dance classes (history, somatics, theory, etc.) will be strong and plentiful. She’s really interested in dance in the social/historical/political context, and is herself a pretty nerdy/thinker kid. As an aspiring choreographer, part of nurturing her development as an artist is nurturing her intellect. So when I say “well-rounded,” what I really mean is “well-rounded dance artist”.
