Dance?

I've been practicing belly dance for about two years now, and I'll be off to college next year. I'm not going in as a fine arts major, so I'm a little worried about being able to practice. I don't like practicing around a lot of other people, so I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it in the commons or outside or something.

For those of you who are dancers, what do you suggest? The dorms where I want to go are really small, and with a room mate, I doubt I'll be able to practice very well in our dorm.

hi! i used to dance when i was young but quit when i got to high school. however, i wanted to pick up ballet again in college because i wouldn't have any extra-curriculars/sports to suck up all my time.

so, i check out my school's recreational classes, and they offer ballet and even eastern european folk dancing (which i also competed in for 13 years when i was younger)! they also had tons of ballroom and belly dancing and yoga classes...etc...they pretty much had everything and for only 20 bucks for the semester.

i was also able to find non-major dance classes (but i didnt do because i dont want to aste credits on them) and dance schools around the city (but too pricey)

but,i go to a large state university in a medium-sized city, so depending on where you're going this might not be an option for you, but i would check it out anyway.
