<p>to everyone who was accepted... first of all CONGRATULATIONS! i just wanted to know if it's true that you get a dancing bulldog email when you get in... what does it look like?</p>

<p>There is music, and a picture of a bulldog. It doesn't dance. It may appear to dance, I suppose, if you are jumping up and down when you see it.</p>

<p>Yes it says Congratulations! And Welcome to - YALE - here's the picture w/ the bulldog (it represents the letter A). You're a member of the Class of 2013!</p>

<p>I memorised it :D probably because ytd i kept replaying it over and over while pinching myself to make sure that it's real. Now i'm left with a bruised arm...</p>

<p>yeah i can imagine... i applied RD (which i think is good because the only two people i know that applied early got rejected :S) and i can only dream of getting that bulldog hahaha... i would probably keep on replaying it except i'm sure i'd get a heart attack then and there</p>

<p>My bulldog page was delayed, so I was freaking out. But oh, the sweet, sweet sound.</p>

<p>Just a note: the page loads very suddenly, there is no "buffer screen." As soon as you click "log-in," your bulldog (or in my case, letter) will appear.</p>

<p>There's this misconception that it dances...the Yale Fight Song plays, but the image itself does not move. (Imagine the load times for those poor dial-up people...)</p>

<p>whoa, the 2012 bulldog didn't look like that lol. it just said welcome from what i remember. no congratulations and welcome to the class of 2012 lol. it was just a bulldog and music. i knew what it meant but a lot of people i know remember being kind of confused.</p>

<p>I think there are a lot of improvements this year. Apparently the admits' page is also much more detailed.
I accidentally left my volume all the way up since the night before and seriously almost get a heart attack by the song..</p>

<p>@njdad: Maybe some things should be left to the imagination :D lol if you know it all it sort of kills the excitement when you actually get to see it the first time imo</p>

<p>I heard and saw it in Dec 2002, maybe the first year it was done this way. Just wanted to know if the music is the same Bulldog fight song. The memory still causes goosebumps to this day.</p>
