Danforth Scholars

darnit, I basically used the same three activities and now it looks like I only participate in three activities! will it make a huge difference? i'm rather worried now

sweetdreams,

Did you send a resume with your application for admission? Or, were you able to list other activities elsewhere in the application for admission? I don't think you should worry, as the person who nominated you probably mentioned your other activities, too, as will those teachers and the GC who send info with your regular app. Don't fret, I think you will be fine!

Does anybody know approximately how many ppl applied for this scholarship?

hitbysenioritis: Good luck to you, too! :) I've applied for the Engineering Scholarship.

Letters for the Danforth Scholars will be mailed March 1st. (Don't know how many applied for this.) Letters for the Engineering Fellowships and Scholarships will be mailed February 25th. "Over 600" applied for these according to the Engineering Dept. YIKES!!

Do you know when the letters for the Rodriguez, Arts and Sciences, Nemerov, and University Scholars Program will be mailed?

I talked to admissions yesterday. Scholars Program applicant decisions will be mailed (good or bad) "mid-march" - pretty vague. Arts and Science scholarships/fellowship letters will be mailed "on or about March 1st (also good or bad) No Email notifications. The program director for Rodriguez and Ervin was not available - in meetings. Hope this helps. Good Luck all!

does anyone know how many people apply for the danforth scholarship?

My daughter received a phone call today saying that she is a finalist for the Rodriguez scholarship and that an information packet will be mailed to her shortly.

"nearly two thousand applicants"
"thirty-eight finalists" for the Danforth Scholarship
