Dare to stand out

You will not be doing anything that the trainer cannot do.
Whatever they have you do will have a purpose.
Nothing I can "suggest" will be anything new and if it is...it will go through TONS of channels before being implemented.

YouTube - Burpees

I still want to know, funnyesq who are you? I don't think you go to the academy, you don't seem to be applying any time soon, so just wondering, who are you?

A freak of nature. Just someone who likes young people doing good things. Can't explain otherwise.

While it's nice to come out of basic with good stories that you can look back on and laugh at, I think it's selfish to come on inprocessing day with the intention of standing out. Basic isn't about you. If you're an attention-seeker, then have at it. But you won't score points with your classmates, I can promise you that. You can have fun during basic, but I recommend that you wait until you get a feel for what your cadre are like and how your flight works. Basic is a game, but if you blatantly treat I-day as a game, it doesn't reflect well on you. If you're going to be funny, better to be funny once people know you a little bit better.

I totally agree...but Rhino-lining doesn't come off!! ;)

Viper, is that stuff still on your hands?

yeah, I helped him with a second coat yesterday...so I also have it down my arm! But we found this tar remover and used it. So some came off, but not all!

Wear to BCT…

I will PAY you to wear that.
Wow, this board is old… can’t believe it’ll have been almost a year since we got here.

It would have to be a lot of money to get me to wear it… and I mean a lot.

I “heart” edodo.org Now that should get you some decent attention.

haha! I’ll do it! :)

Edodo is great…too bad it got blocked at USAFA…

I might even break my personal rule against training basics for their shirt, if I saw the one Packmatt just posted!

I am sorely tempted… it would make this basic stick out from the rest.

Go for it BlueSuiter! You definitely should wear something at least that interesting

There really should be a “contest” to see which Basic has the *&^%$# to wear an “creative” t-shirt to I-day. I say the Firstie Cadre pool say $1 a piece and vote on which Basic “wins” and then reward him/her with …I don’t know…Cadre can get very creative with “rewards” hahahaha

I still like my “I ‘heart’ edodo.org” t-shirt. Many years ago I gave my edodo shirt to a basic to be to wear on I-day…she chickened out in the last minute…oh well…some firstie/cadre “stole” the shirt…because she had it packed in her bag that was then confiscated on I-day…when she later retrieved the bag…somehow the shirt had disappeared…hmm…“We will not lie, steal…” carries a new meaning.

My son was crowned prom king. As such, he now has this big fluffy bejeweled crown that looks pretty funny. You can tell a bunch of girls in art class made this thing. Anyway, I suggested he wear this on the bus on I-day, to make it memorable.

Will be looking for those “creative” t-shirts…bwahahahaha…

I’ll be on the lookout too. From the chapel wall, but I have contacts…
