Dartmouth Chances w/ 3.75 gpa and good extra curricular

I attend a really high achieving high-school. I am a legacy. I have performed solo piano at Carnegie hall, and other venues around NYC. I play jazz trumpet, and have participated in regional festivals for this. I am white. I got a 32 on the practice ACT without preparation, can probably raise it to a 33 or 34. Take all honors and AP classes. I have gotten all 4s and 5s on AP tests. I have a 3.75 gpa unweighted, probably can bring it up to a 3.8. I have great recommendations. I can write a good essay, and probably have a great interview. Dartmouth is my dream school. I am planning on applying early admissions.

Could I have a chance? I would love any feedback.

With no ACT score, it is hard to chance you. Legacy will help you in ED, but isn’t it too late for ED if you have no ACT score? Your GPA will be a non-issue, but how exactly are you going to apply ED in two days if you “can write a good essay” and haven’t even taken or studied for the ACT?

@sunshine, sounds like she may be a Junior.

@preppedparent Ah, that would make more sense - my bad. OP, it’s difficult to give an accurate chance with no test scores. However, your GPA is pretty good, especially with an upward trend. No need to worry.
