Dartmouth College Transfer Applicants 2018

@paulele24 haha it’s fine! We’re just all in a sensitive place right now so even those small details make a big difference.

@mdeca12 Exactly. I’m in a very sensitive place right now. I wish I was not this sensitive! I cant’ wait until this wait is over.

Im almost positive that im getting rejected, and im taking it pretty hard. didnt think it would feel this bad :((

UCLA doesn’t have affordable housing available for me, so id have to make a 2 hour and 30 minute commute everyday which I cannot do, so im hoping Dartmouth accepts me because they’d offer me an affordable financial aid plan. so im really down. and especially after I saw Avengers Infinity War right now :’(

@kb199977 You are right that California, (like LA) is brutal for affordable housing! What about living on campus though???

@IndirectProofs priority on campus housing was for out of state freshman, and none for most unlucky transfers, including myself! so in other words im screwed

me and all my friends got in, and none of us got campus housing because either too expensive or none available. s now we’re either committing to the long commute or just not going to enroll.

can decisions please come out already

I feel you I’m so anxious I can’t even sleep properly

Why do all my responses keep getting deleted?

I’m ready for decisions to be out as well!

Any advice for a future transfer

If last year is any indicator, we might hear something tomorrow or Monday! I believe it was May 5th last year, which was the first Friday of the month.

Actually last year’s decision was on the 12th of May.

I hope you are right though.

The year before that was the second Friday of the month as well I believe. Not expecting anything until next week although it’s going to be the longest week ever.

@IndirectProofs You’re right- I confused it with another college on my excel sheet hahaha I have them all listed there with previous release dates.

It would be lovely if it were tomorrow, though!

I’ve been meaning to call and ask when they expect to release decisions but I know that whatever the answer I’ll get anxiety or go crazy if they give me an off date

@Legends try to get straight A’s, do extracurriculars and internships that correlate to your major and better prepare you for your major, take courses that better prepare you for your major, try and do something that could help your community that relates to your major. Visit campus to get a feel and better insight to the campus, thats all I can say. Everyone is unique so I don’t know your talents, just do the best that u can possibly do.
