Hey guys, I just got a mail from the Dartmouth Admissions Office, and I kno probably thousands of others got it, too... but I was wondering how they got my mail, since I never signed up for any mailing list or anything... don't get my wrong, I was thrilled to receive a mail, I'm just curious though...

i just got an email from dartmouth with the Dtales thing... i don't know what its about either, but i was excited, seeing as dartmouth is my dream school :)

its probably nothing significant though, im guessing it has to do with test scores and such, because my mailbox and inbox are always full after the aps, sats, and so on. usually its just names off a list of people with a certain score.

Ugh I'm pretty ****ed now... I actually DID sign up for their mailing list and have gotten zip in the mail (signed up a few months ago and got mail from many others)

Oh, and they got our emails from SAT I scores. Ive never taken APs or PSAT

is it really from the SAT scores? thats weird, because i think i did pretty badly by Dartmouth's standards (2160..def. retaking). is this just to keep the admissions rate low (get more kids to apply so they can reject more) or is it actually geared towards potential dartmouth students?
