My parent agreement hasn’t been downloaded yet either
@Saburo They didn’t send an email guaranteeing what day decisions were coming out, but I’m just assuming/hoping/praying that they will follow the trend and release decisions on the 15th.
@dinolove Ok! Thanks! I hope it is Monday… It could still be Monday if they send an email out tomorrow maybe…
I don’t know why some people have downloaded parent forms, but I can promise you that it does not mean anything specifically.
Does anybody have any insight into when Tufts decisions might be released. My sister applied there and we still don’t know when she will hear back either.
Hey guys! I’ve been following this thread but haven’t created an account until now. I just wanted to say hi and good luck to everyone! I hope everyone on this gets in! Also, my parent agreement hasn’t been downloaded either.
Isn’t the parent agreement just saying that the parent must affirm the ED decision? I don’t think it has any bearing … it just means that your parent agrees with your ED decision.
I agree^ I think that as long as it’s submitted we are fine. They just want to make sure they agree
I know that Dartmouth provides average test scores but since those include athletes I’m assuming they’re not an accurate representation of people getting in with academics. Does anyone know people personally that have gotten in with academics only? If so do you mind sharing scores?
I know somebody who’s an '18 from my school! (he’s a white male) he said he did poorly in his classes freshman year but his GPA still kinda suffered even though he rocked the next three years. I remember he made a 33 on his ACT.
I can try to go through our old messages and see if he gave me any more of his stats
Does anyone know when decisions will be announced???
Thanks so much! I don’t know anyone that’s gotten in. I have a good act but bad subject tests. The same thing happened with my gpa as what happened with your friend. So nervous
@paiger nope! we’re guessing the 15th from the stuff we’ve heard. for sure next week though
@anonymous1998 no problem! I did poorly on the subject tests as well… eek
my october scores were better than my scores from november but they got delayed and idk if they ever received them (doesn’t say specifically that the october ones were received on the portal though). I ended up attaching a screenshot of the scores as an additional material on the dartmouth status page thing… hopefully they used them! maybe I should call? idk its kinda late now…
my friend is a '19 at dartmouth. she was salutatorian, straight A’s, i think she got a 34 on her act but i’m not exactly sure, also white female
I turned in the October act since that was my best but just in case they didn’t get them in time I emailed a screenshot of the unofficial scores too. I did that in the beginning of November. Honestly it’s probably too late and side your October scores were better than November I’d just leave it. Do you think subject tests matter very much?
I’m really hoping my dual citizenship with mexico helps but I’ve seen some super qualified minorities be rejected on this site so I don’t think it’ll help my ehh test scores that much
@anonymous1998 oh I meant my october ones were delayed… I decided to send them after I saw my november scores. I just assumed I would do better the second time but obviously not !!!
I hope applying ED helps all of our chances too
@anonymous1998 I don’t think subject tests would make or break an application
I bet that dual citizenship will help! Especially if you have competitive scores @lexiii17
Omg same @lexiii17 I did way worse the second time I took my subject tests lolol
