Dartmouth Intellectual Curiosity Prompt

I was planning to reuse my stanford intellectual vitality essay for this prompt, but I’m worried that the AO will think I didn’t bother to spend time writing a new essay for Dartmouth. I read something about how Harvard uses their open-ended essay to gauge where else the applicant applied to (eg if someone submitted a roommate essay to Harvard, they could assume they applied to Stanford as well). Does Dartmouth do this too? Also, are intellectual vitality and intellectual curiosity similar enough to where I even could reuse it? Thanks!

If you’re at a level where you’re applying to several tippy tops, you should be able to write a D essay that you’re sure addresses curiosity. This shouldn’t be a fleeting backwards glance to make sure they won’t suspect you, so you can save time.

In fact, the two prompts are slightly different.

And the S roommate essay is somewhat unique,so, of course, H or any other would notice.

I think you already know the answer to your question. If you really want to go to Dartmouth, don’t you think it might behoove you to “bother to spend time writing a new essay”?
