Well I will be frank about my plans. I plan to come back to India after my UG. I have already decided to join the Indian Air Force. And after two years of service or 2000 flight hours I can come and take my masters degree. Next I will probably resign from IAF and then apply to NASA ;)

I just love the atmosphere at Reed. The theme dorms, various traditions like Renn Fayer, the sense of community etc!

Both are great schools but Dartmouth's name recognition will be stronger abroad and in the U.S.. Biggest difference you will see is the atmosphere at Reed is much more liberal than Dartmouth and there really aren't any intercollegiate sports at Reed. Even if you don't play one it is sometimes nice to have sports available for rounding out the student body and rallying the school spirit...but that will all depend on the type of person you are and what you are looking for in a school. I am curious, why just Reed and Dartmouth? If you are into Dartmouth I would take a look at Cornell, Yale and Princeton as well.

I am not interested in Yale and Cornell. There are other colleges I am applying to like WUStL, Brown, MIT,Duke, University of Chicago etc But I see myself doing great at Dartmouth or Reed :)
