Data Science major at Purdue University

Hello!

I am considering to apply as a Data Science major at Purdue University. However I am confused on what the term Data Science First Year means. Does this mean that I will have to take data science first year and transfer to a different major? If someone could let me know as soon as possible that would be great. Thanks!

I would think it just refers to the standard first year curriculum for data science majors.
