i dont know when im going, its whenever. my mom told me theres an outlet store/mall right next to our house (recently moved) so I might check that out but most probably next weekend or 17-19?

i love shopping with my mother..she picks out cute things and will frequently pay for them haha

Dang, you must start school late. I'm moving in on Aug 13 (official move in is Aug 16) and school starts Aug 20.

My mom doesn't wear cute things. If I hadn't gone thru her closet, she'd still probably be wearing things from the 80s and 90s. She also seems to want me to dress skanky. But she is good at picking out colors.

your mother is your pimp.

my mom always tries to get me to dress more..revealingly, too! she's like, "you can pull that off..heavier girls couldn't, but they do anyway.." and it's like a mini dress with a plunging neckline hahah

i wish there were more mother like yours in this world.

Ugh my mom always tries that whole "you can pull it off" line too. It's like, "mom, seriously, what are you thinking?". You should see some of the stuff she picks out for me. One time, she really insisted that this shirt was a dress and that it was like all the famous people wear until I pointed out that it didn't cover me too well in the back. Then she thought that I should just get a size bigger. haha

Geez, first dates really do suck. This cute guy came into my work yesterday and I decided that I'd go out with him tonight (I thought, who cares if I'm leaving in a few days, it should still be fun and he is sexy). Oh my, it sure was horrible. I faked getting hives just so I could have an excuse to go home early without upseting him.

bahahaha hives.

It was actually quite funny. The only bad thing is that he is still texting me asking if I'm better. I took some benedryl and I'm asleep right now. Shhh don't tell. lol. Oh and to make matters worse, I don't have my car so I can't really go anywhere. My mom said I could drive her car, but of course she didn't leave me the keys and she can't find the current tag sticker for it. Dang. It sucks being at home on a Friday night.

I'm really freaking out right now. I checked my student account and they changed my room number. With my luck, I'll have a different roommate too (that would seriously suck!). It also sucks because I'm right by the elevator and the RA. I had the perfect room before, but noooo........Oh and my hair stylist is on maternity leave and they don't know if she's ever coming back (something about wanting to be a stay at home mom), so I have an appointment with a different lady the day before I leave and I'm so scared that she will **** up my hair. Life sucks right now.

ranting is good fo the soul.

I lived right by the stair well (our elevators sucked so no one used them) and right next to the RA and it worked out well, except for when I could hear phone conversations from the balcony. Just have a chill RA who doesn't care so long as you're not destroying property or harming others.

I guess it could be worse (like being right next to the bathroom). At least I'm a halfway heavy sleeper. It just sucks because it seems like the later at night, the louder people get, especially on the weekend.

I found the cure to my problems: go get a manicure and pedicure! Whoooo!!

in one of the newly renovated dormitories at carolina, the 9th and 10th floors are set up in what are called "super suites." instead of 4 rooms + a bathroom, they have 3 rooms, a sitting room where the 4th would be, and a bathroom..and, naturally, the setup is totally perfecttt for partying. a bunch of my friends ended up in them this year, but it turns out two of them (who are serious stoners and were planning to blaze in the suite all the time like a few of our friends did last year in their super suite) are gonna be living with the RA..worst luck ever.

unless the RA is into that stuff....im living with a freshmen again, ew.

why are you living with a freshman?

Haha I'm sorry, but I am in the same boat because I'm 2 credits shy of being a sophomore (I found that out this week, so that's one more thing that makes me unhappy). I knew I shouldn't have dropped that class last fall and I should have thought about this before I did it. I seem to have the worst luck when it comes to having the right number of credits. I'm always sooo close.........

Oh and I did end up having the keys to my mom's car last night, so I stayed home the rest of the night for no reason. I was stupid enough to think that they were the keys to my car which I should have known I don't have.

Someone needs to tell me a funny story to make me laugh.

well im technically i will be a third year since i loaded up during my freshman year+summer, but really im a sophmore. and i dont know why im rooming with a freshman.... it was supposed to be a junior. he better not bug me about partying and keep talking crap about girls and booze.

haha have you talked to him yet? Watch him end up being the biggest nerd ever. If you are that unhappy about it, why don't you just get an apartment or room with a friend?

but why do you have a random roomie if you're a sophomore?
i dunno maybe that's normal at your school :)

No, i was going to live with three girls, and i realized that would be really bad with girl drama and PMSing, etc.... So i opted out and requested dorming 2 months after everybody else signed up.

I actually did call him 2 weeks ago around 3pm, we talked a bit and he seemed alright, then he said he will call me back at 9pm, he called me at 3:25am plastered. I was more than annoyed since I had an exam that day.
