Has anyone received a call from Purdue before they were accepted?

My D was very excited. I'm assuming this is a good sign.

My D was very excited. I'm assuming this is a good sign.

wait, how did she already get accepted?

No, she has not been accepted. The call was to answer any questions she may have had about Purdue and they asked if Purdue was her top choice.

Just curious if others received similar calls.

My D received a similar phone call.

To those who received a phone call, what majors are your D’s applying for? Are you IS or OOS?

OOS, Engineering

My daughter received a phone call too, asking if there are any questions. She is applying for aerospace engineering.

My daughter applied to the biological engineering major and we are from Illinois. They asked if she had any questions.

Last year I had gotten a call from a Purdue engineering student before I was accepted to know if I had any questions.

The call goes out to pretty much everyone that applies to the university. Don’t get too excited.

uh oh i applied to engineering but i didnt get a phone call yet D:

I received a letter in the mail stating that when the acceptance letters came out that I would be accepted. This letter explained they were letting me know so I could get a head start on my planning.

lindsyoxo - that is a “likely letter” - so it’s all good.
