Daughter took ACT on April 19 at school - how to get scores?

My daughter’s school registered them for the ACT that was given at their school on April 19th. The guidance counselor said that if they have previously taken the ACT and have an ACT account, the scores should show up there. My D has taken the ACT before, but so far her registration for the April 19th test isn’t even showing up as a test she took/was registrered for. Do any of you know if scores from a school-administrated ACT will show up in their actstudent.org account?

Thanks!

From my understanding, you will be mailed your results much earlier than they show up online. They will come both ways regardless. Just sit back and relax; the scores won’t change if you get them earlier

I was wondering the same thing. At the school administration on April 19, my son was told he’d receive his scores in 5-8 weeks, but I assumed that meant the official report that comes in the mail. I thought the multiple choice scores would be available online much earlier (this was the case when he took the ACT last year on one of the national test dates). It sounds like school-administered ACT results may not be available as quickly as results from national test dates. Is that true… and does anyone know why?

According to the April State ACT test thread, a student asked his counselor and they said we will be mailed the results first sometime in mid-May.

Bumping because I’d like a definitive answer to this question too.

I was thinking these scores would be out by now??

D took the Mar 1 school test. She also had a previous account we kept checking. Got mailed results first, almost a month later. Online results accessible the day after we got mailed results.

Thanks! This was so helpful!

It was agonizing a whole month for the school mandated test when her optional one took only 2 weeks!

Do they mail them home or to school?

So, around May 20th then, thanks!

Home.

Did they give you a code to access it online/link it to your current ACT account? Or did it just show up there?

It just showed up on her existing online account, but by then we already had the mailed results.

I called this morning to find out about this. I was told NO scores for the April 19 test have been sent out at this point. They also said the scores will be mailed to your house and only after that will they be posted to online accounts. They said 2-8 weeks and could not give me more info other than the fact that scores have not yet been sent.

Just an FYI for those who are following this–my D’s ACT result from the April 19th state test were just posted online. We did NOT receive mailed results yet.

How did you access the scores?

We logged into her ACT account (she had taken it previously). Her results were listed with her previous results, and there was a little red tab on it that said “district/state test”

If I didn’t take it the first time, where do I go? I have an ACT account it’s just that this was my first time taking it so I don’t see a red tab that says “district/state test”.
I see a tab called the “Pretest for district/state test” but I need a claim code.
Thank you.

Actually, never mind. I got it. Thanks!

I have taken the ACT twice before, but my score is not showing up online. My friends at school all got theirs online but not in the mail yet. Whats the deal with this?
