I'm still deciding last minute I would really appreciate ANY input. Things I'm interested in include club swimming, outdoors clubs, sociology, English, and Spanish. I'm from upstate New York so distance and weather are definitely factors... Thanks for any help anyone might be able to give!

Wow, that is a tough choice. Congratulations on being accepted to such great schools. Have you visited either campus? Were you offered any merit aid or scholarships at either that might help tip the scale?

You said weather and distance is a factor. Does that mean you want to be closer to home or further away? Also, what type of weather is important to you?

I recently did overnights and both and liked them both a lot. I think I’d prefer warmer weather, but being so far away from home would be really inconvenient.

Middlebury does have great outdoor activities and an exceptional English program. If the distance is a concern, you can’t go wrong with Middlebury. The weather at Davidson will have an obvious advantage but only if climate is more important than distance.

I’d pick Middlebury. In my opinion, it is one of the top 3 LACs all-around, not just academically(with Williams and Amherst being the other two)
