Davidson vs. U of R

Which one should I choose?? I am thinking about taking pre-med program,,

U of R meaning the University of Richmond?

Premed = Davidson

Meaning Univ of Rochester..

You mean Rochester as in Rochester, New York? I think the question answers itself doesn't it?

Snow vs. No Snow
Real lake vs. fake lake
Yankee elitism vs. Rebel gentrification
Youse vs. yall
Parkas n sweatshirts vs. sweaters and tank tops
Winter games vs. water games
A place people are escaping vs. a place people are escaping to
Dixie Chicks vs. Dixie
Parochial preppies who proclaim life ends @ the Mason-Dixon line vs. Parochial preppies who know life ends @ the Mason-Dixon line

Both great pastures to nurture one's sheepskin ... but sorely different.

Rochester would be included with Emory, Richmond if it was in Mooresville.

Davidson would be included with Williams, Amherst if it was in Rochester.

Very clever - wish I had thought of that...

I'm suprised someone would even apply to both schools. They are so completely different

Back to the earlier thought though ... Can anyone reflect/compare a bit on Richmond and Davidson?

Cesky - students from our school district (20 miles outside of Rochester) apply to both every year, probably for the same reason the OP did - they both have strong pre-med programs. For those who choose Davidson, with all the differences, it is usually because Davidson has D1 athletics compared to Rochester's D3.

Out of curiosity - the Rochester med school/hospital is right across from the campus, where do most Davidson pre-meds go afterwards? Wake or Duke?

Whistle - loved your comparison, but youse is more of a downstate/NYC thing! (but then again a lot of U of R students are from there)
