<p>Had the interview at 530 for the central coast section and just got a call that i got first. I won $1,000 and a chance for the $10,000 . 30 sections are in california.</p>

<p>i'm sure other UC's are doing their alumni scholarship first round interviews too (i know UCLA is).</p>
<p>I was amazed how fast they contacted me. Only 4 hrs after I had my interview. Its real nice how it was so fast. And my 15-minute interview came out to be about to be almost 25 minutes. I also brought in a ton of extra stuff, such as recommendations that I already had and a resume but they werent allowed to view or use those.</p>

<p>I wouldn't worry too much about it yet, Hanna. If I remember correctly they didn't do interviews till later in April.</p>
<p>i got the davis alumni award, too! i also received an email stating that i am a semifinalist for cal berkeley's alumni scholarship. don't know whether i will make the final cut for the interviews.</p>
